The Sand Ceremony

A type of unity ceremony, the wedding sand ceremony expresses the coming together of two people or families into one new family. It is a very simple idea that can be incredibly powerful. Typically each person has different colored sand and takes turns pouring into one clear vessel, in our case you pour two different colors of glass into the vessel and the combined glass color is later made into one of the beautiful objects shown below.

Large Unity Vases

These unity vases are made with the combined glass color used in the sand ceremony and stand approximately 11 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide.

The unity heart sculpture is an organic heart shape incorporating the sand ceremony color and set on a heavy clear glass base with ample space for engraving.

The set provided when you purchase your glass color—you will receive a generous amount of each color as well as an empty corked vase to pour into.

Unity Fluted Bowls

The sand ceremony color is swirled and blown into these beautiful undulating bowls. These bowls can be used as a centerpiece or side table decoration.
